We suggest that you stay additional day or two in Amsterdam.
You will sail in a luxury floating hotel on the Rhine river with long history of knights and kings, castles, epic battles and historic centers of economic power.
The Rhine is one of the longest and most important rivers in Europe. It flows through multiple countries, including Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Germany, France, and the Netherlands, before emptying into the North Sea.

You will start your luxury float in Basel, Switzerland, and if you have not been on a river cruise we can assure you there are no waves, no crowds (about 120 people only) you are in port EVERY DAY and every cabin faces out to the Rhine.

We recommend that you come in 2 days ahead of the river sailing date (June 11). This will give you a chance to acclimate to the time change and explore Basel a bit.
